Yes, those who didn´t have health insurance for more than 3 months during the year will have to pay a fine, $695 per adult or $2.5% per child, or 2.5% of the taxable icome, whichever is greater.

At the end of the year, Covered California will send Form 1095A to all people who were enrolled in a health plan. This form shows the subsidy received by Covered California during the year.
